Good Sunday morning darlings!
I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! The last day of relaxation for us here in Canada, but all you lucky souls in the States get the luxury of one more day
I guess I shouldn’t complain. We got our long weekend last week and I don’t have a job… so I usually don’t know what day of the week it is anyways…
But, it’s not all fun and games around here! So, don’t think I’m slacking
I had a busy week with my online biochemistry course as I had to complete my first out of six quizzes (which I passed by the way) and I have also been working with my Dad at his jewellery store!
I’ve also been taking care of my girl <3
Thank you for all of your support and well wishes yesterday. It was much appreciated and provided me with comfort <3
Other than that, I’ve been in the kitchen a lot so I’ve been a happy girl cooking up a storm! I have quite a few recipes to share with all of you, so I thought I might as well start spreading the recipe love today!
Last night, my Dad requested that I grilled chicken breasts How could I turn that request down!? So, I made one of my favourite marinades (recipe below) and grilled chicken breasts for dinner just as requested
Aren’t I the best daughter ever?
Mustardy Tarragon Paprika Chicken Marinade
6 skinless boneless chicken breasts
1 tsp tarragon leaves
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp pepper
4 TBSP dijon mustard (creamy or whole grain – which ever you prefer!)
1/4 cup red wine
This marinade smells amazing by the way.
I let my chicken marinade for the entire afternoon, but that’s not necessary if you don’t have the time!
I’ve used this marinade for chicken several times and it’s always been a hit! The combination of flavours is fantastic! Let me know if you give it a try the next time you fire up the grill
