I am one happy girl this morning because I have some very exciting news to share…
I was able to retrieve the workout vlog that I originally planned on publishing in yesterday’s post for WIAW!

I am also really happy this morning because today marks the day of A Dash of Meg’s first ever giveaway, but before we get to that I have something that is important to me that I’d like to talk about first!
I want to talk about friends, true friends.
Friends who are there for you no matter what.
Friends who make plans to come visit you despite the 2 hour drive.
Friends who make you feel comfortable, confident, and happy with being who you are.
Friends who do not judge you, but friends who inspire you.
Friends who would eat sushi with your every night of the week if that is what you are really craving (which it usually is…)
My Mom and I weren’t even in London yet and Chelsea was already making plans to come meet up with me for a lunch date!
My Mom and I met up with Chelsea and her Mom for lunch yesterday at Moxie’s and had the most wonderful (and tasty) time <3
Chelsea is a true friend of mine and I just wanted to point that out today. In the past, I have had a lot of trouble with friends. True friends are hard to come by, but I am blessed to have met Chelsea because she is one of the “special ones.”
Thank you Chelsea for being such a great friend! I am so lucky to have you in my life! (And thank you for dealing with my sushi and DAVIDsTEA obsession)

Ok, now on to the giveaway!
Who else is ecstatic for the giveaway!?
As I have mentioned many times on my blog before, my favourite type of protein powder is About Time Whey. I like it because:
- It tastes amazing (of course this is the most important reason!)
- It is naturally flavoured and sweetened
- It comes in a variety of flavours
- It mixes well and never gets clumpy
Recently, I have been in contact with this wonderful company who graciously sent me some flavours to sample! There are so many different flavours, 12 to be exact, and I am lucky enough to have tried 8/12 of them! Here are my personal opinions of each flavour:
This is my go to flavour; the one I have on hand at home right now. It is one of the best tasting chocolate proteins I’ve come across. I use it for a variety of things – smoothies, protein oats, protein frosting, protein pancakes, baking, etc.
This is another great flavour! If you prefer vanilla over chocolate, I highly recommend this one. I use it for the same things as the chocolate flavour – smoothies, baking, etc.
Personally, I couldn’t tell much of a different between this flavour and the vanilla flavour, but it is still very tasty!
I was really excited to try this flavour and I wasn’t let down! It tastes great! The only thing I must say is that there is no need to add extra cinnamon to a protein shake when using this flavour or else it will be much to cinnamon-y! I know some of you are thinking, “too cinnamon-y!? How is that even possible!?” well, it is. So, for those of you who are cinnamon fanatics – you would love this flavour! I liked mixing this in with my cottage cheese for a tasty snack!
I am typically not a fan of strawberry flavoured anything and I really don’t like fruit flavoured protein powders; however, this didn’t have that typical fake fruit flavour. I was impressed, so if you do like a fruitier type of protein powder you would love this! I tried it blended into a smoothie and mixed with Greek yogurt which I then topped a rice cake with.
I love banana and banana flavour. Remember that banana flavoured medicine you had when you were young? Yeah, I loved that. I wasn’t sure if I would love this, though (as I don’t really like fruit flavoured protein powders), but I really did enjoy it! I had it mixed with greek yogurt, raw rolled oats, and walnuts! It was a fabulous combination.
Chocolate Peanut Butter
This one smelt amazing and I was so excited to try this flavour seeing as how chocolate is one of my favourite flavours of protein powder. It tasted great, but the peanut butter flavour wasn’t very strong, so if you didn’t know it was chocolate peanut butter flavoured you could easily be fooled and think it was just chocolate.
This one was amazing and I am sure many of you would agree. I mixed it with greek yogurt and used it to top my rice cakes. I am sure it would be fantastic stirred into oatmeal, too! Or used for protein pancakes Ahhh, so many possibilities. Delicious possibilities…
In all honesty, this one might just be my overall favourite! I mixed a scoop of this flavour with almond milk and ice and blended it all together! You would think you were drinking a Starbucks Frappuccino! Incredible.
The three flavours I have yet to try are Natural, Birthday Cake, and Peaches and Cream which I hope to try some day soon because they both sound amazing! You know how I like peaches in my post workout shakes
