High Five Friday #42

High Five Friday…

What a wonderful way to end such a wonderful week, don't you think? ;)

We've got a lot of high fives being handed out today, so let's get this party started now!

Melissa – "First of all, I was so proud of myself during Thanksgiving. I worked out every morning and really thought about what I WANTED to eat instead of just gorging myself sick because it was a holiday. I came out on the other side with great family memories, not a stomach ache :)
Second, I am SO excited because I switched my blog, Treats With a Twist, to self-hosted! After a year of wanting to and being too scared to do it, I finally got the courage to find help and do it! I'm so happy I took the leap and I'm hoping it leads to wonderful opportunities because blogging about my baking and being healthy is what truly makes me happy!
High Five!!"

Kelly – "This week I'm giving myself a high five for digging my juicer out of the piles of boxes in the garage. We're in the middle of moving, living transitionally at my inlaws', and trying to live super minimally with most of our stuff packed.  BUT, I got the juicer out and am so glad I did because veggie juices just make me feel better. I needed this renewal and created a wonderful Holiday "must" called {Elf Juice}.  Serve it at your upcoming holiday party with an "Elf Juice" placard, to your family whilst decorating the house, or to Santa's elves alongside the traditional milk and cookies."

Corinne – "I want to high-five myself for going out for my first run in the rain this week! It felt awesome to get out of my comfort zone and I feel that much closer to being ready for Tough Mudder! I also restarted a blog I started about two years ago to help keep me motivated in the final countdown to TM."

Julie – "I just wanted to send in a high five for starting a weights program this week. I'm really hoping that from doing some weights, it'll increase my power and performance on the track this indoor season. :)"

Megan – "This week, I'm high-fiving myself for challenging myself with more speed work on the treadmill and being super productive in completing a bunch of long-term projects early!"

Mary – "I finished the pre-bronze level of ice dancing by passing a test on the Fiesta Tango! My coach partnered me and I was passed by all three judges. I asked to be judged at the standard level, which is the skill level that the young competitive skaters meet, instead of the more lenient adult or masters levels. I enjoyed the tango and I'm glad that I passed!"
You can read more about Mary's high five and watch a video of her skating here.

Lindsay – "I wanted to high five myself for joining the #Elf4Health Challenge hosted by The Lean Green Bean Blog and Nutritionella blog. I was pretty hesitant to commit to a six week challenge like this, but I wanted to challenge myself and meet other bloggers who love the same things as me!"

Tina gets a high five for listening to her body and not running a marathon at this time!

Laura gets a high five for moving to a new city and trying a new gym!

Ashley gets a high five for getting a great mark on her exam!

Chelsey gets a high five for competing in her first bikini competition!

Caitlin gets a high five for reacher 3,000 followers on Twitter!

Lils gets a high five for signing a lease for a new home!

Annelle gets a high five for doing a good deed and being part of security for the Santa Clause Parade despite the cold Saskatchewan weather!

Char gets a high five for giving birth to a beautiful baby girl, Nia!

Lindsay gets a high five for reaching 1,000 followers on Instagram!

Hannah gets a high five for trying cable crunches for the first time!

Anna gets a high five for doing her first headstand!

Nancy gets a high five for baking lemon poppyseed muffins for the first time!

Linz gets a high five for creating and completing a new workout!

Abby gets a high five for trying oysters for the first time!

Heather gets a high five for trying her first purple sweet potato!

Meghann gets a high five for reaching 10K followers on Twitter!

I will be giving myself a high five (or two) for…
