High Five Friday…
What a wonderful way to end such a wonderful week, don't you think?
We've got a lot of high fives being handed out today, so let's get this party started now!
Melissa – "First of all, I was so proud of myself during Thanksgiving. I worked out every morning and really thought about what I WANTED to eat instead of just gorging myself sick because it was a holiday. I came out on the other side with great family memories, not a stomach ache
Second, I am SO excited because I switched my blog, Treats With a Twist, to self-hosted! After a year of wanting to and being too scared to do it, I finally got the courage to find help and do it! I'm so happy I took the leap and I'm hoping it leads to wonderful opportunities because blogging about my baking and being healthy is what truly makes me happy!
High Five!!"
Kelly – "This week I'm giving myself a high five for digging my juicer out of the piles of boxes in the garage. We're in the middle of moving, living transitionally at my inlaws', and trying to live super minimally with most of our stuff packed. BUT, I got the juicer out and am so glad I did because veggie juices just make me feel better. I needed this renewal and created a wonderful Holiday "must" called {Elf Juice}. Serve it at your upcoming holiday party with an "Elf Juice" placard, to your family whilst decorating the house, or to Santa's elves alongside the traditional milk and cookies."
Corinne – "I want to high-five myself for going out for my first run in the rain this week! It felt awesome to get out of my comfort zone and I feel that much closer to being ready for Tough Mudder! I also restarted a blog I started about two years ago to help keep me motivated in the final countdown to TM."
Julie – "I just wanted to send in a high five for starting a weights program this week. I'm really hoping that from doing some weights, it'll increase my power and performance on the track this indoor season.
"
Lindsay gets a high five for using 65 lbs. for one arm rows for the first time!
Abby gets a high five for trying oysters for the first time!
Heather gets a high five for trying her first purple sweet potato!
Meghann gets a high five for reaching 10K followers on Twitter!
I will be giving myself a high five (or two) for…
1. Deadlifting 1.5 times my bodyweight for the very first time yesterday!
2. Receiving a great mark on a paper I wrote earlier this year!
