The Feeling of Christmas

by Meg on December 26, 2012

We all get that feeling.

I'm not sure how to describe it, but I'm sure that all of us who celebrate Christmas can relate to that feeling.

That feeling of happiness, togetherness, comfort, excitement, etc.

Yes, I am sure we all get it.

But, you know what's interesting?

That even though we all get that same fuzzy warm Christmas-y feeling, we all experience different Christmas's.

We all have different Christmas traditions that we look forward to year after year…

like visits from Santa…

larger than life stockings…

cinnamon buns the size of your head…

or crab feasts and contests for the biggest intact piece.

Yes, we will have very different Christmas's from one another, but I hope everyone had a great one.

I know some of us may get the Christmas blues beginning today, but remember how lucky you truly are to have had the chance to celebrate Christmas.

What are some of your favourite Christmas traditions?

What was the best gift you opened on Christmas?

Can you describe the feeling of Christmas?

Please don't forget about High Five Friday! It will still be taking place this Friday, the 28th, so I would like to hear from you! Please email me at adashofmeg@gmail.com with your submission or read here for more information! :)

Your traditions are fabulous! Love the visit from Santa too, that's great. I wrote a post about my families traditions: http://jessnessrequired.blogspot.co.nz/2012/12/semi-clean-cinna-balls-traditions-matter.html Being away from them this year was tough but carrying on a tradition we always did together was a great way to feel connected without physically being there.
