Happy High Five Friday, friends!
I realize today is in fact Saturday; however, I was unable to create a post yesterday, so High Five Friday was not posted for the first time since February! I couldn’t bare the thought of going an entire week without a High Five Friday post, so High Five Friday is a day late this week!
These were the high fives submitted to me this week:
Sloane – “I made it to my 100th post milestone, and I also worked through a lot of holiday stress and anxiety and was able to have a happy Christmas for the first time in years! And I chopped all my hair off!”
Jess- “Kept the Christmas tradition alive of mom’s homemade cinna balls! Traditions are a great way of feeling closer to home when away from your family for the holidays. Make some yourself by checking out the recipe here.”
Lainee – “First I’d like to give my sister a High Five. She has completed her first semester of Nursing school! Several of her classmates have failed to move on which has been very upsetting for her but I am just so proud of my little sister for doing so well! Next, I’d like to give myself a High Five for THIS Friday being my last day at my current job! I am taking a well deserved 10 days off before starting my NEW job at a Level 1 Trauma Center! So yay me for expanding my career and landing more moolah! WOOT! And a very special High Five to YOU Meg for sending me so much blog traffic!”
Sarah - “My high five Friday entry- I’m finally accepting that I am in recovery, and consistently working every day to better myself in terms of mental strength, physical strength, and overall health. It’s been a plethora of medical testing these last few months with a liver biopsy today actually… all of which makes me very thankful for what I do have and gives me even more motivation to fight and work to inspire others.”
Amanda- “I am taking a big leap of faith in 2013 and relying on myself to create a business from my writing. I was inspired by so many of you who jumped on board with all the challenges I hosted in 2012, that I took a step back and created a whole NEW plan of action for 2013. The challenges now are small, but have a HUGE impact and are part of a new best foot program I’m launching.
It’s terrifying to put yourself out there without a safety net…but it’s the only way to find out if you can fly!”
Thank you for participating, girls! Sorry for the delay on getting your high fives out there, but they are all phenomenal and deserve recognition!
