My love for whipped cottage cheese mixed with quinoa is no joke.
I could eat it every day all day, but as enticing as that is… I like variety. So, I eat it every day, but not all day.
I usually eat my favourite meal of the day half way through the day, for lunch, just so I don’t miss it too much as I would if I ate it for breakfast.
So, what have I been having for breakfast lately?
I’m sure you’ve heard of Brinner, breakfast at dinner time, and who doesn’t like Brinner!? Cereal with cold milk, eggs and toast, etc. Let’s face it, Brinner is amazing!
But have you tried Dinnfast, dinner at breakfast time, before?
As a girl who prefers savoury to sweet, I’ve really been enjoying having a more dinner-type of meal at breakfast time! It’s a change from my regular eggs and oats, which I love because I’m all about variety! 😉
Here are some of the Dinnfast’s I’ve been enjoying lately for today’s What I Ate Wednesday!
Grilled tilapia, brown rice, oats, lentils, and steamed broccoli drizzled with olive oil.
Tilapia, brown rice, oats, lentils, spinach, and tomatoes drizzled with walnut oil.
Chicken, brown rice, oats, lentils, and broccoli, drizzled with walnut oil.
Homemade meatballs, brown rice, oats, lentils, arugula, and red onion.
Chicken, butternut squash, arugula, walnut oil, and dijon mustard.
And this mornings mix is chicken, brown rice, lentils, flaxseed, arugula, and mushrooms drizzled with avocado oil.
I’m not sure how long this dinner-for-breakfast phase will last, but I’m loving it right now 🙂
