Today’s Marvelous Monday just might be whey too good to be true
Gnarly Nutrition and I have partnered up to provide you with a review and giveaway!
Gnarly Nutriton provided me with the following 3 supplements to test out for myself:
1. Pre-workout – Gnarly Pump
2. During workout – Gnarly Boost
3. Post-workout – Gnarly Whey
The pre-workout supplement I received from Gnarly Nutrition was their Gnarly Pump Nitric Oxide Booster.
“Ensure that your machine is ready and primed for the fight you throw at it. Gnarly Pump is a Nitric Oxide booster with Creatine to feed your muscles. Designed to allow you to sustain harder efforts for longer periods of time, Pump is also packed with Green Tea extract for a surge of natural energy. Pump is what you need when you know things are going to get tough.”
I had never taken a pre-workout supplement before, but Gnarly Pump tasted great and helped me get through last weeks GPP Fitness workouts stronger and faster. I could string more consecutive thrusters together than ever before and I set a new PR for unassisted chin ups! There’s no 100% guarantee that my progress has to do with this pre-workout supp, but I did find that it helped me push through my workouts.

The supplement they provided me with to take during my workouts was their Gnarly Boost which contains electrolytes and trace minerals.
“Welcome to the fight. Welcome to a game of who’s got the most guts. Welcome to facing your enemy head on, mano a mano. But, as you work out, dehydration can slowly become your worst enemy. Gnarly Boost keeps you hydrated so you can focus on taking out your real competitors. Boost gives you the electrolytes you need plus 72 trace minerals and B vitamins for energy and focus, leaving you free to choose how you get your calories and protein. No more sugary mess of a hydration drink to deal with, and no more worrying that dehydration will get you before you can show your opponents the mettle you’re made of.”
I usually sip on BCAA’s during my workouts, but I enjoyed the Gnarly Boost just as much! It tastes great and it replenishes my electrolyte stores after an intense workout which is really important especially while working out in this heat!

The post-workout supplement I received was their Gnarly Whey which is made from New Zealand Whey protein.
“You just put yourself through hell. Now its time to climb out and move on with your day. Feed your body what it’s earned. Feed it the best. Feed it Gnarly Whey; a recovery protein that not only gives you New Zealand Whey, some of the cleanest protein on the planet. It also delivers our Digestive Blend as well as pro and prebiotics to help you recover to a faster, stronger you. Because, if you’re anything like us, you can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow.”
It was love at first sip.
I sampled the Chiseled Chocolate flavour and blended it with almond milk, oats, one peach, and ice and created the most delicious post workout shake ever! Not too sweet, not fake tasting, just absolutely delicious! Definitely the best tasting protein powder I’ve ever tasted! It blended so well, too! I’ve used it for shakes and overnight oats and it works well for both!
Even though all of the products I’ve sampled from Gnarly Nutrition were marvelous, today’s giveaway only features my overall favourite – the Gnarly Whey!
