Last night my Mom sent me the cutest email with the subject “Tea Time” and this picture attached
Her and my Dad were both having tea last night and she thought she’d share with me. So cute. I’m proud to say I’ve turned my parents into tea lovers just like myself.
What can I say. I rub off on people. In a good way of course
Tiesta Tea contacted me last week because they knew I was an extreme tea lover and wanted me to review some of their teas for them! Of course I couldn’t turn this amazing offer down, so I chose three of their teas to test out myself: Earl Grey de la Creme, Flap Jack Oolong, and Kiwi Cherry Bonanza.
Earl Grey de la Creme
This tea is a black tea, so I chose to have it in the morning along with my breakfast as it is high in caffeine. I absolutely love regular earl grey teas, but Earl Grey de la Creme teas are even better. They are smoother and creamier. Absolute perfection. They taste creamy even without adding milk or cream. I loved this tea and it’s mellow vanilla flavour!
Flap Jack Oolong
Oolong teas are one of my favourites. This particular oolong also contains walnut pieces and maple syrup. It reminded me a lot of Toasted Walnut green tea from DAVIDsTEA, which just happens to be one of my overall favourites. So, I also loved this oolong from Tiesta Tea. It’s the perfect amount of sweet, so I don’t think any sweetener is required and I love the nuttiest from the walnuts. The oolong tea is a perfect tea for sipping at throughout the day. It’s smooth and refreshing and contains a medium amount of caffeine.
Kiwi Cherry Bonanza
Even though fruity teas are never the first I reach for, I wanted to make sure I sampled one of Tiesta Teas’ herbal teas, which contains no caffeine. So, I chose this blend because of the cherries. I love the flavour of cherry teas. Again, this tea was sweet without the use of any sweetener and I was very impressed that the flavour did not become bitter even though I left my tea bag in the entire time I drank my tea, which was over an hour. I also really enjoyed this particular tea because of the ginger. Ginger is one of my favourite ingredients in tea blends.
I love Tiesta Tea and what they stand for. Their brand believes that once you start using loose leaf tea, you’ll never go back and I can definitely vouch for that
So, since Tiesta Tea impressed me so much, I want to share my love for the brand and their teas with you!
