Wow! High Five Friday number 80!? That’s only 20 away from celebrating our 100th! And I’m sure that will sneak up on us… just like September is! I can’t believe August is almost over! Can you?
I hope you’ve all had a great week and are ready to celebrate this week’s High Five Friday
The following high fives were submitted to me via email (if you’d like to appear in next week’s HFF please send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your high five submission)
Emily - ”To passing my exam to become a Registered Dietitian! Such a great feeling!”
Lauren – “I got my butt kicked my the one and only Jillian Michaels! It was the most incredible experience ever. You can read more about it here and see lots of pictures: http://ellepottsie.com/2013/08/20/the-time-that-jillian-michaels-kicked-my-butt/”
Bobbi – “I launched my Fall Shred”
Jan – “My high five Friday this week is I did a personal best on leg press. Before I started my new strength program 4 weeks ago I remember failing at 30kg less than I now can do as of this week ”
Kim – “This week it is for sticking to Jamie’s 21-day Intuitive Eating challenge and for blogging everyday for the past week! Both have proved to be challenging- opening up my most personal stories and feelings- but well worth the effort. I see myself progressing everyday and my outlook and relationship with food is definitely changing for the better. My opinion of myself and my looks has also improved. Only a few days until I start at a new college and I plan on continuing with IE and blogging ”
Miss Polkadot – “After weeks on anxiously waiting for them I finally got the results for my thesis today. Finding out about my mark gave me a much more positive and exciting perspective on what the future might hold for me in terms of job and educational opportunities.”
Lindsay – “This past week was a wake up call for me physically, mentally and emotionally. I’ve been so down about being on the downward slope with running, but I’m staying positive, I’m resting and I’m cross-training and not stressing. I’m learning that I can find happiness in other things, in other workouts and in other areas in my life. I am trying to see the positives in every day and do what I can to get back to running in the right way.”
Thanks for all of your High Five Friday support! It brings me such great joy when people recognize their own accomplishments because that’s what High Five Friday is truly about! So, next week I challenge you to take note of your accomplishments and email me so I can feature you! Celebrating your successes feels so good and it should be done regularly!
The following high fives are the “surprise high fives” which are the successes and achievements of others that I’ve taken note of:
Stephanie hasn’t had coffee for 2 weeks
Gina joined a running group
@i_am_jamie hired me as her Nutritionist and Fitness Coach and will be starting a new diet and fitness routine (GPP) on Monday!
@stephvarriano got her first job offer as an RD
Lindsay competed in her first Crossfit competition
Taylor strung together 6 consecutive double unders when she attempted them for the first time
Anne was featured in the Women’s Running Magazine
Kristen went out to eat twice this weekend, which is something she doesn’t normally do.
I will be giving myself a high five this week for being hired as a Nutritionist and Fitness Coach! I’m so excited that my clientele is starting to grow already!
What will you be giving yourself a high five for today?
