I Mixed My Own

I love introducing you to favourite products of mine.

Whether that be Silver Hills Bakery breads and bagels (p.s. have you entered the giveaway yet?) or Gnarly Nutrition protein powders, I just love introducing you to my favourite things!

Today I have a new favourite product to share with you and a brand new company to introduce you to!

Mix My Own is a healthy breakfast company that helps customers create their very own breakfast cereals. Yes, that’s right. You can custom make your very own cereal or muesli! Now how cool is that?!

When I first heard of this new company, I just had to try it out for myself. So, I logged onto their website and started creating my own mix!

I was extremely surprised and impressed with the variety of ingredients they had to offer! They have 100 different ingredients, all of which are nutritious, all-natural, organic, unprocessed, and without sugar, preservatives, or GMO’s! I had such a hard time deciding on what to put into my mix… It took a lot of contemplating and even more time, but I finally decided on my mix:

- whole grain hard red wheat

- whole grain rye

- whole grain barley

- whole grain oats

- whole grain triticale

- flaxseed

- quinoa

- sour tart cherries

- blueberries

- chia seeds

- raw macadamia nuts

Another fun thing about this process is that you actually get to name your mix, so I named mine “Meg’s Morning Mix”

Clever, I know.

I absolutely love the mix I made and I already know I’ll be making more mixes in the future! It’s so much fun and the combinations are endless! The blueberries in my mix are sweet as can be while the cherries add the perfect amount of tartness.

I enjoyed my cereal in icy cold almond milk with a side of fried eggs!

i LOVE mix my own!!!! i added quinoa flakes, goji berries, cashews, pumpkin seeds, and dried blueberries! so good!

Ive seen that mix your own for a while and have been wanting to try it, just a little expensive, but Ill prob try it soon! Im also in a breakfast rut of egg white oats, I need to switch it up! Thanks for the ideas.

I LOVED the freeze dried blueberries I put in my mix, so good! I really liked my mix in coconut milk yogurt, yum!
