What a Friday! It’s been go go go for me since 7:00 am this morning! Who else has been on the go?
Now the day is winding down and I hope you’re ready to celebrate the 85th High Five Friday!
Thank you so those for participating in this week’s High Five Friday! If you’d like to see yourself in next week’s HFF by giving yourself a high five for a recent accomplishment or success please send me an email to email@example.com
Meg – “I’d love to give myself a high five for fearlessly running my first race in 6 months. I ran a 10k last Sunday in 50:39 and felt really proud that I didn’t let fear of not succeeding stop me from running.”
Miss Polkadot – “Thanks to the wonky organisation of our university it didn’t happen any earlier but on Monday I officially graduated from university. It was a great ceremony – bittersweet because it means I won’t be seeing some of my friends regularly anymore. But also reason to celebrate as we finished an important period of our lives. Fingers crossed for whatever life is having in store for me now.”
Lindsay – “I have had quite a week at work and want to high five myself for realizing that it’s okay to ask for help. I get really anxious and frantic when I’m overwhelmed with projects, and this week I realized that asking for help doesn’t mean I’ve failed. It means I’m growing and learning about how I work. One day at a time.”
Lauren – “I ran my second half marathon on Sunday with my dad! We finished in just under 2 hours which was my personal goal! Running with my dad is so special, he is so supportive and always believes in me.”
Kelsey – “My high five this week was realizing I needed to make time for myself during such a busy last semester of my undergraduate degree. I left one of my two jobs last week and have enjoyed the extra this week to study hard and workout even harder. My second high-five is for having a strong month back at CrossFit after a pretty bad back tweak! It feels good to consciously be doing things for myself!”
Jan – “My high five Friday this week is listening to my body and taking some extra rest days since feeling like I’m about to get a cold. Last year I would have just pushed through and worked out anyway but I’m now much better at listening to my body.”
Again, thank you for submitting your high fives to me this week HFF is about recognizing your OWN accomplishments. Each day that goes by we don’t give ourselves enough credit and today, HFF, is the day that I have created to make our accomplishments and successes known! Brag about how amazing you are! Celebrate about how incredible you are!
You’re worth the celebration!
So, tell me…
What are you giving yourself a high five for today?
My high five this week is for the amount of time I devoted to studying and preparing for other school projects. As I’ve mentioned earlier this week, I had one quiz, one presentation, and one final exam to tackle this week and I am giving myself a high five for handling it so well, not getting too stressed, and giving it all of my effort! My week went great and now I am more than ready for an awesome weekend
See you Monday!
Don’t forget the HFF hashtag #high5fri and congrats to Tanya who won the AMRAP Refuel Bar giveaway!
