So, it seems as though it wasn’t only me needing a breakfast challenge, huh?
Yesterday, I asked you if you’d participate in a November Breakfast Challenge, which would consist of having a different breakfast each morning for an entire month, and I received a very positive response, so keep your ears open and eyes peeled for more information about the challenge at the end of this month!
I was really excited to try this tea. It just sounds amazing. Sugar and spice. I mean, what’s not to love about that!? Especially if your partial to the spicier teas like myself
Sugar and Spice definitely didn’t let me down. It was spicy from the perfect combination of cloves and cinnamon, but it did have a small amount of sweetness, too, from the apples and orange peel. However, it’s more spicier than sweet.
If I had to use one word and one word only to describe this tea it would be “comforting”, so this is the perfect tea to brew up on those chilly fall mornings and take to work or school with you or whenever you need that comforting sort of tea.
I haven’t added sweetener to this tea yet as I personally enjoy it just as is, but I’m sure it would make a great latte with some extra cinnamon on top!
This tea is a black tea, so I recommend only allowing it to steep for approximately 5 minutes. This is not a tea I would allow to steep for very long.
The list of ingredients for this tea include: black tea, apples, cinnamon cassia, cloves, carrots, marigold petals, orange peel, and natural vanilla flavouring. Pretty simple. Just the way I like it!
So, are you in need of a comforting tea? Because I think if you are – this is your tea!
You can order it online here or go to your local DAVIDsTEA store and order yourself a cup!
I hope you enjoyed this week’s Tea Tuesday post and are excited for next week’s instalment!
Do you enjoy spicy teas? Does this tea appeal to you?
See you tomorrow with one of my new favourite recipes!
