November Breakfast Challenge: Days 26 – 30
Good morning, my loves and happy December!
How exciting! A new month and one of my favourite months, in fact! I love December. I love the holidays. I love the family gatherings and traditions. I love it all!
Ok, except for the mounds of snow. Have I shared the wintery scenes of London with you yet?
We got 70 cm in a single night. There’s a lot of snow, but there’s also a lot of excitement happening on A Dash of Meg today! Since November is over, the November Breakfast Challenge is now over, too! Which means…

But first! Let’s have a final recap of my breakfasts this past week!
November 26 – Chocolate Chia Pudding with Greek Yogurt, Mandarin Oranges, and Cacao Nibs (recipe coming soon!)
November 28 – Chocolate Protein Chia Pudding topped with local sheep yogurt, local figs, and pistachios
November 30 – Steamed local kale, roasted local peanut squash, and eggs fried in ghee and seasoned with pepper and smoked paprika
The November Breakfast Challenge (along with the September and October challenges I completed by myself) has helped me implement more variety in my diet, become more creative, and let my cooking skills go wild! I became more in tune with my body as I was able to determine whether I wanted to have a savoury or sweet breakfast and I was also able to step out of my comfort zone and try flavour combinations that I would have never attempted before like this one. I learnt that I definitely do like savoury over sweet foods and that I feel best when things are kept simple and contain foods as close to their natural state as possible.
For those of you who took part in the challenge with me, thank you. The participation I received was phenomenal and greatly appreciated. Although I will not be hosting a challenge this month, I would love to do another in the future because I enjoyed seeing all of your posts on Challenge Loop every day so much!
We had 32 participants in the challenge and even though I was blown away by all of your efforts and beautiful dishes, there can only be one randomly chosen winner.
