A Marvelous Start To My Day

by Meg on December 15, 2013

It’s been a while since I’ve taken part in Katie’s Marvelous Monday link up, but I thought it was necessary today as I’m about to share with you how I marvelously start my day each morning!

Last week, I introduced you to Lush Cosmetics, the brand I am currently using for my facial care, and will begin my series of Lush review posts today! Starting with the first thing I use each and every morning – toner!

Lush has many different toners to offer, but I was on the hunt for a toner that would accommodate my skin type, which I consider to be combination skin, but more oily than dry.

With my skin type in mind, I chose to purchase Tea Tree Water.

The Tea Tree Water toner is ideal for individuals with oily, combination, or blemish-prone skin. It also is particularly effective at keeping your t-zone clear, which is perfect for me because that’s where the majority of my blemishes occur!

Tea tree is antibacterial, anti fungal, and alcohol free, which I love because alcohol can be really drying to the skin.

Along with the wonderful tea tree in this product, it also has juniper berry and grapefruit waters, which is probably my favourite part of this toner because it makes it smell so good! I love the smell of grapefruit on my face in the morning!

Before purchasing this toner, I had never used a toner before, but since using the Tea Tree Water I have noticed huge improvements in my skin. I have hardly any acne on my forehead anymore and the area between my eyebrows doesn’t get oily like it used to.

I use this Tea Tree Water each morning to prepare my skin before I put my Lush moisturizer on, which I will be reviewing next week!

Just a few spritz of this Tea Tree Water is all you need to make your Monday (or any day!) marvelous!

What’s making your Monday marvelous?

Do you use a toner? What skin type are you? Would Tea Tree Water be the perfect toner for you, too?

See you tomorrow!

Not Monday here yet BUT our weather will be nice again so that is good!!! :) I have used toners thru the years. I have old person crazy skin right now & really need a dermatologist but can’t afford it.. all the hair that grows on it with age & the thinning of the skin make for a very problematic thing – hard to find stuff that works without professional help…

ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I don’t use a toner at the moment but I have in the past. This one sounds like a good one. I’ve used tea tree in the path and liked it. :)

Ahh…I’m so excited to read all of your reviews on the Lush products! I have quite a few Lush stores around me and have tried a lot of soaps/bath bombs/etc. but I’m always hesitant about switching up my skin-care routine. I definitely need something new though (my skin has been acting up) so I’ll have to give this a try!
