It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve shared and reviewed one of my favourite skin care products from Lush Cosmetics.
If you’re not familiar with Lush, you can read my introductory post here.
The first Lush product I reviewed on A Dash of Meg was my toner, Tea Tree Water, which is the product I use when I wake up in the morning. I simply spray the toner on my face, rub it in a little, and then lightly dab off any excess liquid with a dry cloth.
After using my toner, I moisturize with Lush’s moisturizer called, Vanishing Cream.
Having combination skin that is on the oilier side, I’ve always felt as though I didn’t need to moisturize my skin, but then I did some reading and found out that if my skin is oily, it’s trying to compensate for something, so I made a few adjustments to my skin car regimen:
- Instead of cleansing my face with a cleanser in the morning and night, I reduced to only using my cleanser at night.
- I began using a moisturizer.
After making these two small changes, I noticed significant results. Although I do have a few pimples here and there between my eyebrows every now and then, it’s nothing like before – my skin is a lot clearer now that I’ve been cleansing less and moisturizing more!
Lush’s Vanishing Cream moisturizer is perfect for those with skin like mine – blemishes here and there – and are in need of some balance!
Vanishing Cream contains lavender, which balances, and witch hazel extract, which eliminates blemishes very effectively.
After using the Vanishing Cream, my skin feels very soft from the grape seed oil it contains and absolutely vibrant!
This cream is very light and doesn’t feel heavy on your skin, which I love. It’s not sticky like other moisturizers I’ve used in the past and it leaves your skin smelling great, too! The scent isn’t too strong, but there is a slight lavender fragrance, which I find to be so comforting!
I use this moisturizer on a daily basis right after I apply my toner and right before I put on my make up.
Do you use a moisturizer? If so, which one? Would you like to try Lush’s Vanishing Cream?
See you tomorrow!
