High Five Friday #119

Good morning, loves!

How is it Friday already!?

My week feels like it’s been a busy one and it’s not about to slow down! I have workshops for school all weekend, but I’m looking forward to them! I’d go to school every day of the week if I could :D

Deana - My high five this week would be really honouring what I wanted to buy at the grocery store this week. I bought some treats. :)

Hayley - This week I started my first WHOLE30. I’m feeling great so far and can’t wait to see how I feel as time goes on.

Lindsay - Today I’m high five-ing confidence. Serious, grown-up confidence. This week felt like a big change for me, and it all started with a brand-new haircut. I feel like an older, more sophisticated me. One of my friends at work even said I looked more confident. I can feel it and I’m owning it! I’m also owning my workouts. Yesterday I picked out a really hard workout to do, and I surprised myself and finished the whole thing — all 200 burpees! This was a great week :)

Ashley - I would like to give myself a high five  for the upcoming weekend fishing trip to Northern Sask with my family  where cell service is non existing. I can’t wait to unplug! Also I received a comment on how well I look by a person on my floor at work. Feeling excited that others are starting to notice my Turbofire results!!

Sam - I finally accomplished my goal I set almost seven months ago and ran a half marathon. Never in my life did I think I would be able to run 13.1 miles for fun, but I did it and I’m already signed up for my next race!

Jan - My high five Friday this week is yesterday running 5km non stop. It’s the first time I’ve done it since getting my arm cast off and now I know I can do 5 it makes me know for sure that more distance is possible!

Liz - This past week, my boyfriend and I started up our own blog. We’ve been talking about doing it for a while and we finally sat down this weekend and set it all up!

I will be giving myself a high five this week for keeping positive despite having negative things happen. I just always remember, I have the power and control over how I want to feel and I also am not going to allow other people to bring me down! I’m stronger than that :)

My high five for the week is that I started teaching group fitness and taught 3 classes this week! :)

High five to me this week for my thurs hill repeat workout. It was TOUGH but I felt like a rockstar afterwards. Stepping out of the workout comfort zone is nice once in a while!

I have to say that I just love yours and Ashley’s high fives. I love that someone told her she “looked well.” I don’t know why but to me that just seems like such a better compliment than “you look so skinny!” or any comment on weight. It’s all about being the best you :) I also second your high five for myself. It was my first week back to work after vacation and ho.ly.cow. what a mess. I have had to work ten hour days just to try and catch up (still haven’t btw) and yet, I feel the happiest I have in a long time! Someone even commented on the great mood I’ve been in :) yay for positive thinking!
