Birthday Shenanigans & Happy Days
Well, if this weekend wasn’t marvelous… I don’t know what is!
Last Thursday I told you a bit of a lie…
I said I wouldn’t be able to go home this year for my birthday, but that was a cover up to a very big surprise that my parents and I pulled off Thursday evening!
My parents flew me home for my birthday! I arrived in Saskatchewan Thursday evening, but Eddie had no idea…
It was such a great surprise and my Mom caught it all on video! If you haven’t seen the video of the surprise yet, watch it here! 😀
Now that I’m back at home my life feels over the top happy again. I cannot wait until I am here for good! Only another week and a half!
Since all I can think is happy thoughts lately, I thought I’d update you on how the #100HappyDays Challenge I am participating in is going!
I am really so happy (<- see I can’t stop using that word!) that I started this challenge. It encourages me to see the good in every situation and focus on all of the positives. So, I would highly recommend starting this challenge today if you’re feeling like you need a little more happy in your life! 😀
Now, an update on days 42 – 48!
Day 42 – My friend Holly
Day 43 – The grilled seafood salad at Milestones
Day 44 – My hair stylist Shannon
Day 45 – Surprising Eddie
Day 46 – Being at home for my birthday
Day 47 – Grilling dinner with Eddie
Day 48 – Having breakfast with Eddie (guess which one is mine 😉 )
Honestly, this weekend has been amazing and it is just what I needed to get me through this last week of school before I move home for good 😀
What has been making you happy lately?
I hope you all had a great weekend!
