About

Hi I’m Meg and welcome to my life! Or, should I say blog? Well, either way, throughout my posts you definitely will be getting an inside look of my life and what it’s like to be me :)

I am a 20-year-old nutrition nerd going into my 3rd year of university in London, ON. I made a far move to London in September 2010 from my hometown, Yorkton, SK., to pursue my dream of becoming a dietitian and helping others someday. The year I spent in London allowed me to grow and learn so much about myself; it was the best decision I have made for myself in my life so far. I discovered my true self, who my real friends are, new friends that I absolutely love to death, loads of knowledge about food and nutrition, and my new passion for fitness. I started lifting weights in November 2010. I complimented my training with proper nutrition and was able to notice a gain in strength and muscle which made me incredibly excited and boosted my self-confidence. I had been in the search of finding my self-confidence for the past several years, so it is extremely liberating to finally walk tall and proud today.

A lengthy thirty hours away from London is where my Mom, Dad, puppy, and many other family members live. I miss them so much, but know that London is where I need to be right now. I am lucky that I get to come home for holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and summer though! My parents are my best friends, so I invite them to visit me in London too ;) They have a hard time turning down the offer :)

If you love life, early mornings, massive amounts of sushi, creating new recipes and making a total mess of your kitchen, getting jelly arms after an intense arm workout, almond butter by the spoonful, and spending a night relaxing while painting your toes with a best friend then this blog is for you :)

Join me in my crazy, busy, fun-filled life as a nutrition savvy university student trying to lead a balanced and healthy lifestyle!

How have I not come across your blog before? We are basically the same person, actually just got back from sushi, in love with working out, and an odd obsession for almond butter as well. I’m a Fanshawe student studying Fitness and Health Promotion, and going to Brescia for Nutrition hopefully after year two of my program. I came across your page from Monika of Fit Foodies. Healthy Life.
Can’t wait to read more of your posts:)
